Julian Vogel
CHINA SERIES #5
CHINA SERIES #5 focuses on the difference between the diabolos manufactured by the artist, from recuperated ceramics. Each object takes on different weights, shapes, sizes, colors, materials, musicalities: they are all unique and require an adapted manipulation. The performance evokes a form of fragility, of “breakability” of objects and bodies, but also of situations and relationships.
